Our History

The Motorsport Italia brand was born in 2011 and quickly became the distinctive feature of a leading company in the international motorsport scene, immediately achieving exceptional results in the Italian Rally Championship and in the WRC group N, objectives achieved thanks to a technical level that allowed design of innovative and extremely effective technical solutions.
The titles of the previous championships include: Italian Group N title with Gigi Galli who started his career as a driver with RalliArt, a team designated to become one of the teams for drivers of the World Rally Championship; Four Fia Cups for the group N title (after PWRC) 1996-1999 with Gustavo Trelles; six titles of the Italian Rally Championship group N 1998-2002 with Gigi Galli, Mario Stagni, Alex Fiorio and Fabrizio Ratiglia, in 2007-2008 with Paolo Andreucci; two Greek Championship titles in 2005 and 2008 with Aris Vovos; an Italian Constructors title in 2005; four titles in the World Rally Production Championship with Armindo Araujo 2009-2010, with Benito Guerra 2012 and Max Rendina 2014.
In 2017, the Motorsport Italia team supported, on a technical and professional level, 3 young Italian drivers: Luca Bottarelli, Riccardo Canzian and Gianandrea Pisani in the program in collaboration with Toyota and Aci Team developed over 3 European Championship (ERC) races.
In 2018 ACI SPORT entrusted Motorsport Italia with the realization of the ACI TEAM ITALIA project, which undertook to provide assistance, advice and rental of an R5 car to the young Italian driver identified by ACI, Fabio Andolfi, developing the sports program over 7 tests. of the 2018 World Rally Championship.
In addition, since 2014 it organizes the Rome Capital Rally, which, born as a local race, first became the National Championship and then evolved into the Italian Absolute Championship until it reached the validity of the European Rally Championship in 2016.

ACI TEAM ITALIA

In 2019 Fabio Andolfi embarks on his second campaign in a Skoda Fabia provided by Motorsport Italia in collaboration with the Italian Automobile Federation ACI.

ITALIAN JR RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP

For a three-year period 2019-2021, Motorsport Italia will manage a program called "Campionato Italiano Junior Rally"- CIJR a young talent scheme supported by the Italian Automobile Federation (ACI Sport).

Motorsport Italia is also an event promoter, our Company started out about seven years ago with a small rally event that is now among the most relevant in the world: Rally di Roma Capitale.

Motorsport Italia headquarters are conveniently located in the north and in the central of Italy in order to ensure an enhanced management of all business areas.
Lecco HQ manages the cars and transport related to the World Championship, the European Championship and the Italian Rally Championship Jr. The building of over 3,000 square meters of covered space, it is the operational core of the company.
