Clear ideas and a lot of determination, for Armando Pontone it's already time to get back on track. After winning the 600 National Trophy and the third place achieved last season in the 600 CIV (among other things, behind his future teammate, Marco Bussolotti, and Kevin Zannoni), the Cassina rider will restart from the Next Generation and from the defined agreement with the Axon Seven Team.

Just in the last few weeks, the class of '92 had the opportunity to taste a race track in Airola:

“For the first time - he said - I had the opportunity to start my preparation much earlier, since I began to get to work in the last week of December. These tests are fundamental because they allow me to arrive 100% ready at the start of the championship".
Something that shouldn't be taken for granted:

“The winter break risks, however, becoming penalizing. Resuming all the braking and acceleration references is not easy, which is why when you go back to laps you have to do it with the right times".

And the first balance, in this sense, is positive:

“I got very good lap times, among other things trying various set-ups on the bike. In January I had a good pace, doing many sessions of 20-25 minutes to prepare especially in terms of physical fitness. Then, not a trivial aspect, I rode with different tire compounds: from the hardest to the most worn, testing their wear. Same thing with the tank, so I understood many things that, in terms of strategy, could help me a lot".

Inevitable final thanks:

“All of this would not have been possible if there hadn't been the support of some companies that helped me carry out the tests. And I take this opportunity to thank all the partners who will support me in the next season. I sincerely thank each of these people, as well as I say thanks to P80 Asd, Motorsport Italia and the Axon Seven Team".

With the dream of living a season at the top.
