A third place in Race 1 and a fifth place in Race 2 the conclusion of an important weekend. Armando Pontone can also put the third round of the Civ Supersport 600 behind him, staged over the weekend that has recently been held in the archives on the Mugello circuit.
 
The rider of the Bike & Motor Racing Team thus maintained the third position in the general classification:
 
“I had a nice weekend. On Saturday in race 1 a great third position arrived, just a few thousandths from the second. Although I started from seventh place after a not brilliant qualifying, I played an important race and completed a really important climb. I was sure that I had succeeded, the bike has always given me positive feelings ”.
 
In race 2, however, the situation changed slightly:
 
“On Sunday, after seventh on the grid, I immediately made a good recovery. I was lapping very fast and when I was in third place I was very focused. I had a good pace, then in the final while I was going to get Zannoni a piece of rubber in the wake on the straight along with another bike came into my eye. Unfortunately it burned and I got distracted in the last three laps, finishing in fifth place ”.
 
Optimism prevailing in view of the rest of the season:
 
“For me it was a very nice and positive weekend. Being frequently in the top places is truly a pride, I don't forget that it's my first year ever in such a tough competition. Now I'm focused for the next round. Head down, don't let go of an inch ".
